It was originally just a couple houses down with 3 artist’s Mark, Lisa, and Laura. Mark Walter’s the Founder and Owner had to fight the City of Tempe for 13 months just to get the shop in the city limits. Mark went on from there being instrumental in having the regulations put in place for health and safety. They soon outgrew their first shop and moved 2 doors down.  Now it has been renovated in 2005 into this amazing  state of the art yet gorgeous shop. Mark literally spent over a hundred thousand dollars just to give the feel and ambience that is created when you walk in! He also has a hospital quality -state of the art sterilization room! None better in this state!  Truly a hidden secret right here in Tempe Arizona. 

Mark Walter’s is an award winning tattoo artist! His talent rivals any big name in the game! You see Living Canvas Tattoo is all custom work. None of that generic crap you pull off the wall so you and the guy at the next W pool party can match. No this is thought out and created together. The detail is outstanding and ofcourse one of a kind! The shop also offers piercings. For all you piercing lovers you are taken well care of! It is the biggest in size and with 2 seperate dance floors you can’t beat it! The staff at the front are very courteous and quick to get you in! They have one of the most beautiful staff of cocktail waitresses you’ll see around. Bottle service and private skyboxes are available to add more privacy and some personalized service!
